From the Principal

Welcome to Central Park School! Central Park School serves approximately 750 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.  Central Park School is a learning community where staff and parents work together to help students develop the needed skills to set foundations for becoming life long learners.  Our school community works to create a positive and caring environment which makes Central Park School "A Place to Belong".

Central Park School - A Place to Belong

May is here with lots of activities blooming at Central Park.  Join our PTCP meeting at 9:00 am on Wednesday.  We will host new PTCP Board elections at the meeting.  We wish to congratulate 8th grade students Itzel Murillo and Tyler Dorcic who will represent their 8th grade class at the Illinois Principal Association Breakfast.  We will honor our many volunteers at a breakfast on May 8th with a short presentation from the 3rd grade students.  8th grade students will enjoy their Dinner Dance on May 17th at Raday Lodge. Their graduation ceremony will be held on May 30th at 7:00pm.  Students will participate in Field Day on June 1st sponsored by the PTCP.  Our final day of school will be on June 6th at 9:20am.  We wish our families a safe and enjoyable summer break.
