From the Principal

Spaulding Elementary School serves approximately 125 students from prekindergarten through third grade.  Our school community encourages life-long learning by providing a challenging education while meeting our students' intellectual, social, and emotional needs. The teachers at Spaulding are highly qualified, dedicated professionals.  They work hard to ensure a positive, supportive, and nurturing environment.  We value our partnership with the families of our students creating a true family affair.

Coming Up

Welcome again to the 2010-2011 school year.  We are beginning our first full month of the year, and we have a few activites planned to give all of the Spaulding families a chance to become involved in their children's education.  Our Back to School NIght is at 6 p.m. on September 7th.  This will be your first opportunity to meet your child's teacher and hear about the daily events in their classrooms.  Our first parent group meeting, on the 21st, will be the election of officers.  Plan on attending.  These meetings bring together parents who want to help out in the school through various avenues such as the Scholastic Book Fair, Spaulding Fest, and our fund raising efforts.  Check your child's backpack each day for their school work and communication to you.  With our continued efforts we will make this year a fantastic year for our Spaulding students.
