From the Principal

Spaulding Elementary School serves approximately 125 students from prekindergarten through third grade.  Our school community encourages life-long learning by providing a challenging education while meeting our students' intellectual, social, and emotional needs. The teachers at Spaulding are highly qualified, dedicated professionals.  They work hard to ensure a positive, supportive, and nurturing environment.  We value our partnership with the families of our students creating a true family affair.

Coming Up

Thank you to all families who sold lottery tickets for the Spaulding Parent Group fund raiser. During the month of February, we will be checking evening Pick Three Lottery numbers and notifying winners. Top lottery ticket sellers were Ricardo Avila, Matthew MacLaren, and Marilyn MacLaren.  Congratulations to our January Students of the Month who showed cooperation in many ways:  Seidy Benitez, Antonio Cabrera, Dariana Reyes, Reham Uda, Angel Avalos, and Gina Paparelli.  Elizabeth Kneeland and her family were the winners of the January attendance incentive AMC Theatre movie pass.  The Parent Group will be sponsoring our annual Scholastic Book Fair during Parent Teacher Conferences on the 8th & 9th.  Be sure to check out the wonderful selection of books that we will have on display.  Our 100th day of school will be celebrated on the 6th and will provide us with opportunities to share all of our 100 days of learning.  In addition, we are holding a "Winter Clothing Drive" (hats, mittens, gloves, scarves) in hopes of collecting 100 items to be used during the winter months for needy families in our community.  Third graders will be gearing up for the ISAT's scheduled to begin on March 6th. We look forward to seeing everyone for conferences on the 8th and 9th.
