From the Principal

Springfield School serves approximately 400 pre-kindergarten through sixth grade students.  Our school community focuses on providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages life-long learning while providing a challenging education.  Students are guided to develop positive social skills to encourage their growth as productive and responsible citizens.  The teachers at Springfield are dedicated professionals who work hard to ensure a positive and supportive environment for every student.  We strive to develop a partnership with our families to ensure the best education for our students.

2015-2016 Kindergarten Registration is currently taking place in Springfield''s office. It is important for our future planning to let us know if you, your family, or your neighbors have an incoming kindergartener.

Please visit the Parent Group’s Facebook page: MSD 143 – Springfield School.  The Parent Group is looking for volunteers to help with the Fun Fair on Monday, June 8.

Please remember that Monday, June 8, is a 1:30pm dismissal for students. This is the last day of student attendance.

The Springfield School Library will be open on three separate days this summer.  We encourage our students to stop in, explore new books, and check them out to read during the summer.

Our library will be open the following Tuesdays:

June 16 12pm-2pm

July 7 12p-2pm

July 21 10am-12pm

Don't forget that every Tuesday is Springfield Night at Kenootz Pizzeria. Just mention Springfield School when you order and 25% of your sale comes back to our school.

Please go to the Midlothian School District 143 REGISTRATION page for all of the details.
